Q&A @ MyCraftivity
Just wanted to drop a note and say that Modern Memory Keeper is officially released and in stock at Amazon, and everywhere else for that matter! (Your local stores might take another couple of weeks to stock them, though.)

Also, Kristin at MyCraftivity posted a Q&A with me on their blog today, and started a little forum chat as well.

Hope everyone had a nice weekend!

Project List

I always have a whole list of projects that I want to complete, and it changes daily. The first on the list are the two collages above. The moon-tree one just never seems complete. Here's my whole list (well the first few things for now)

  1. Moon-Tree collage
  2. Other Mini Collage
  3. Bathrobe for my Mom
  4. A whole bunch of Thank You cards
  5. New slipcover for the Sofa
  6. Reusable shopping bags
  7. A New Purse
I'll stop at seven, because, well it's going to be awhile before I get to the end of the list. What's on your list?

Shell Collage

The coolest thing in this month's Martha Stewart Living, by far.

I feel a new project coming on. Look here for the whole article and how-to.

I've been lusting over this skirt pattern forever now. I think it's getting close to time to finally breaking down to buy it. It's from Sew Betsy Ross. Has anyone used their patterns before? They sound great, reusable, much better than the usual tissue. I'm always afraid of the fit when I make something myself though.

12x12 frames
These Urban Outfitters Frames would be perfect for a 12x12 layout. Or maybe even a little group of layouts.

Links are fixed
It was only the Roots Papers that was wrong, but it's better now. Sorry for the confusion!

Messed up the Links...
Apparently I messed up the links in the last post. (Sorry Shawna!) It's a little late for me now, so I'll try to check it out tomorrow. Have a fabulous eve.

I had a request when I first left Oscraps to continue to make these kits available, so here they are. Enjoy, and please let others know that you think might like to have these.

Skin and Ink
Okay, okay, I know it's been forever. I started working full-time in addition to all my scrapbooking adventures, and the blog just sort of slipped away from me. But Anam just broke the news that her super cool article is out in Skin and Ink, and one of my pages just might be in it.
Take a gander if you happen to pass it on the newsstand.

Ornaments

Hey all,

I made a turkey the other night, and now I'm trying my hand at some turkey noodle soup with the leftovers. From the looks of it, it will either be delicious, or a total disaster. I'm hoping for delicious.

I've been reading Collage: Lost and Found , by Giuseppina Cirincione and she inspired me to create these fun little ornaments.
The chipboard is from Lazarwerx, they have perfect shapes for ornaments, the flowers are vintage that I bought from etsy, totally fun. The rest is a random assortment of patterned papers, and I sealed the whole thing with Gel Medium.

I hope everyone is ready for the quickly approaching holiday!
