I have also had a chance to play with Claudine Hellmuth's The Scrapbookers Creativity Kit!
Here are the cards I drew:

(green, blue, and "escape")

So here was my thought process after drawing these cards:
"Escape" made me think of our dog who is always trying to outsmart us and sneak outside the house if we leave the door open even the least little bit.
Green and blue were an easy color combination.
I thought the green would be perfect to make a Christmas-y layout about the huge dog bone that my husband gave our dog after he won it in a game of Dirty Santa at work.

That was my thought process and this is what I came up with:

Supplies: Patterned paper (brown-Basic Grey; green-KI Memories), Chipboard alphas & embellishments (DCWV), Brads (KI Memories), Stickers (Santa hat & "our dog" label-KI Memories), Misc (staples)

Please note: I totally stole the idea of the Santa hat on the heart from the fabulous Kelly Noel after I saw her do it on this layout in the KI Gallery.

I am lucky enough to have a layout in the book-how honored I am!
