Cool New Tool {Binderie}

The new Binderie tool from 7Gypsies - I have to admit that when I first saw it I thought...who needs a new two hole punch?  I mean, I have about a million single hole punches that I can just use to, well, punch two holes with.

That was until I pressed it's magic little black button.

(It's kind of hard to see the magic black button in the above photo but it is there at the top.)

So what's so magical about this button?

Well, when you press it, it punches through THICK chipboard like butter!  (goes through chipboard much thicker then the stuff I am showing here)

(But the best part is the whirring sound it makes - it is battery operated so it makes the best soft whir as it drills through your item.  I am not the only one who loves this sound - Magnus loves to run into my craft room and give it a press so he can hear it too!)

OK. So I know what you thinking...Great! It punched two holes through thick chipboard...WHY is she rambling on about it...

See that arrow in the above photo?  That little black "knob" is why I am rambling on about it.  Basically you take the first hole you punched and hook it onto that little black "knob".  (I have no idea what to call it - it is just a little piece that that sticks up from the side of the machine. :)  It is probably officially call it a thing-a-ma-gig!) This is the little piece that makes this tool extra awesome - beside it's way with punching chipboard like butter!.  With the chipboard piece hooked onto the thing-a-ma-gig you press that heavenly little black button again.  Whirrrrrrr....:)

You get this.  Four perfectly spaced holes.  Pretty good right?  It probably took me 5.2 seconds to get this.  Definitely way easier than using a single punch.

But OH...LOOK....

That thing-a-ma-gig slides out and clicks into place....press that magical little magic button....whirrr...

And repeat....:)

Ahhhh!  A whole line of even space holes all ready for to be made into a mini album! This whole line of holes I am pretty sure took 9.4 seconds to make (not that I timed it or anything, lol, I'm just sayin'!)

I love it so much that I have found an easy to reach spot for it in my craft room.

I have tucked it right next to my printer that it sits on the window ledge next to my work table.  So easy to grab whenever I want to make a mini album (and so easy for Magnus to come and press and make his own line of evenly space holes, lol)!  Oh, just think of all the things you can make into mini albums!!!

And since my scrapping groove has been lagging lately due to extreme tiredness (but I am well rested now!) I have decided to kick-start my creativity with a challenge.  Got to love a challenge to get those creative juices flowing!

I am going to work on this challenge tomorrow.  7Gypsies has a challenge right now to see how you can fancy-up your Binderie punchAnyone want to join in with me?  The prize pack is pretty awesome!
