Today I am having a bit of scrap envy. You see, normally I am at the Craft & Hobby show in Chicago at this time of year. Working and drooling over all the new scrap goodies. But I opted not to go to this show because it is a busy, busy summer for me and next week I travel to Grand Rapids, MI for the next Great American Scrapbook Convention to teach (Chattanooga - registration is open). I would have only had 3 days at home between the two show and I choose not to be away from my family that much.
And I am ok with not going 'cause the show is really tiring but you know what I am kind of sad about? Not seeing people. Often this show is one of the few times I get to see people I work with almost daily and it is so nice to get to have dinner and chat in the evenings with them. I am lucky enough to get to work with people I really like - how often do you get to say that?
So I am living vicariously through one of the girls there - she is madly emailing me on her blackberry and I am refreshing my emails. :) Funny.
So us left at home waiting on sneak peeks of the yummy scrappy-ness to come can continue to scrap on a budget and save our pennies for the stuff we need and stretch it further then normal when we finally treat ourselves - more budget scrapping idea to come. :)
