Rub-ons Rubbing You the Wrong Way???

Do you hate this as much as I do?

You have to cut apart the sheet so you don't accidently transfer a rub-on that you don't want to transfer.  And then this?

Trying to get the darn thing back in the package but of course it won't go easily cause it is all weirdly shaped now!!

This is how I solve the problem.

I cut them apart and staple the backing to the transfer sheet.

This way they don't get ruined because they are shifting off the protective backing and you don't need to scream everytime you have to put them backing in the packaging! (You've heard me, right?!!)

Pretty easy to move them around my page until I get the spot I want and then I just quickly remove the staple.

Simple but effective.

Happy Scrappin' everyone!

**Just editing to add - after I cut and staple them I toss them back in the original packaging.  This way they stay together, don't get damaged and I can easily store them.

I found it is much easier to cut directly through the packaging the rub ons come in. That way you don't have to hassle with trying to get them to go back into the package. I strategically cut the package so that the remaining rubons stay together. Once I have used alot and have bits and pieces I then put them in another bag (ziploc works)

Really cool idea! I would have never thought of that. I guess that's why you are a master and not me! Anyway, thanks for the comments on my blog even though it sucks. It still made my day. I've been sick for awhile so I haven't posted anything, but I'm getting back in the saddle here shortly, I just finished a page that I love for my baby's album about my CROCS! Yes, I said Crocs! Anyway, I'll let you know when I post again so you can do more blog surfing later. Thanks for the cool idea! Rock on sista!

hahahahah- ok ....imagine me...opening your blog from blog lines...going...huh...those pieces look like my pieces...yeah...I have the same problems all the time- LOL

I staple them now too - but I had also now the problem that I often time stack them wrong in my drawer and that other rubons get in between. But the tip is good- gotta be less messy when I am though ;-)

Hey Heather - I tried cutting through the packages too but found after a few cuts they got too messy and the packages got caught on each other when I storing them. I'm glad it is working for you. I think you just got to play around and find out what works for you and the way you organize. :)
