2007 Master Crystal Jeffrey Rieger is authoring a new book with Memory Makers titled Cut Loose: Break the Rules of Scrapbooking. Inside, Crystal and her contributors teach readers that the only "should" in scrapbooking is that it should be fun…and they did a great job conveying that message. The layouts are packed full of color and creativity.

While editing the supply lists and source guide, I noticed that Crystal incorporated a lot of really fun and unique embellishments from the Canadian company Papier Valise – a company I wasn't very familiar with. Sure enough, when I searched out their website, there were oodles of items I wanted to snatch up. (This photo, from their homepage, gives you an idea of their stock.) My mind is churning with ideas of things to do with those tiny trees...so cute!

Crystal’s book isn’t due out until July 2008 – but in the mean time you can catch up with her at her blog where she hosts challenges and shares creative prompts with her readers.
