This is a favorite picture of mine, so I knew when I used it on a layout I wanted it to shine. A Scrap Simple inspired layout was the perfect project!

My color inspiration, if you couldn’t tell, was the traditional red and green for the holidays. (I almost never do things in red and green, so it was a fun change.) And the journaling was inspired by a layout that MMMaster Caroline Ikeji recently posted on her blog which listed 7 of her accomplishments for 2007. I spun the idea and asked Eric to list 8 goals he had for the upcoming year.
