Woohoo—it’s Friday! AND it’s absolutely gorgeous here in Cincy … a great day to be alive.
Despite the beautiful day, I’ve had a bit of technological difficulty scanning my page. A big THANK YOU to Amy Glander
(MMBooks), Susan Smith
(HOW magazine) and Katie & GinaMarie for help with the scanner.
Which brings me to the topic of my layout:
My Wings Are Made of Words. Give me an article to write, and it’s smooth sailing. Give me an art project or technical chore, and
I am challenged! This version of my response to the
8/24 Challenge is my second creation. (You still have time to
enter your layout. You can't win a copy of
We Dare You if you don't enter!) Both efforts got me out of my comfort zone and I LOVED the experience.

The journaling says: when I write, even if no one reads those words, I know peace. ~pmc
(You can't see it here, but on the swirls in the lower, left corner are handwritten words of prayers.)
Speaking of words, we were talking yesterday about words that are fun to say. You know, words that just feel good rolling over your lips. Here are ours, what are yours?
Beth – funkadelic, bazillion, ellipses
Patty – serendipitous, gajillion, plethora (thanks GiM for reminding me)
Christy – fantabulous and grace (less is more in the word department)
Katie – smitten, yummy, possibility
Holly - Aberystwyth (the castle), Raoul (the name), Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis (longest word in the English language)
GinaMarie - snappers, stupendous, plethora
Peace and love,
Patty
