Recently, I have been incredibly inspired by the mixed media artwork of Sarah Ahearn. I love her soft color palettes, whimsical patterns and the bits and pieces of vintage paper ephemera that she incorporates into her work.

I was lucky to have the opportunity to work with Sarah on the Mixed Media column for our July/August issue (which only served to further inspire me!).

I made this piece using the tips/artwork Sarah shared in her column for us.
