My 13 month old is really starting to get into my supplies. I am piling more and more stuff up high so he can't reach it. I also have an open space in the dining room, which makes it more necessary to keep most stuff out of sight.

Because no matter how many times I clean up after a scrap day, I still feel like I'm wading through "stuff."

My scrap space needs serious help. I have been gathering supplies for about 6 years (since I was pregnant with my son) but never had a space to really work on projects until now. I have created many pages, but there are so many more that I need to make, the problem however is that my "new scrap space" is across town at my Mom's house. I work about 60 hours a week, plus go to school, so when I get to go there and scrap I really need to maximize my time, right now everything is shoved into a couple of big metal supply cabinets and it takes me longer to find what I need to make a page then it does for me to create the page I have in my mind. I am nothing if not organized! My whole life rests upon being organized (and having everything organized). Unfortunately, I reorganize my scrappin stuff so many times that I cannot find items when I want them! I am willing to sell/donate items if need be...I simply cannot spend any more $$$.

I guess I am a typical scarp-a-holic. So many pretty things stay unused because I do not have an efficient way to store them. I am blessed with a scrap room and when I clean it up it is wonderful. Then I work on something. I haven't found a way to keep my most used items handy and still able to access things I occasionally use. My biggest problem is paper storage! I am definitely a pack rat. I have such a hard time throwing anything anyway, thinking, this broken toy or interesting piece of styrofoam would make a great craft project. Inevitably, they usually do, but my home is over-run with clutter. But then again, isn't that the mark of a creative mind? :) Thank you for the great give-away.

I need help! My space needs it that is.

I need to organize my scrap space badly. It is in the basement of our home, and there is just too much other stuff around. It is hard to stay focused when my five year old is trying to get into my supplies because they are out for all to see, and get in to, for lack of storage. I get so frustrated that I end up taking whatever I am working on and go upstairs to the dining room table. I end up not scrapping as much as I would like because by the time I get everything upstairs, and layed out, my five year old wants something to eat or my husband needs my help with something. Then I am too tired to work, or too frustrated. If my space were more enticing and organized I just know that I would be more productive. As it is right now, I think it has been two months since I touched a page!!

If anyone needs a craftroom do-over its me! I have a fantastic space (450 sq ft) and its almost useless! It should serve as a craftroom/guest room but right now it looks more like a storage space! I have no cabintetry or hiding places for things like holiday decorations and such that are congesting the room. Add to that my love for books and VOILA! Cramped, cramped, cramped!! HELP!!!

My projects just keep piling up. I pull things out for a project, leave it in a pile, and then start another project! I need to get better organized so I can find what I need easily and have a place to keep ongoing project instead of piles. It's frustrating because I hate the mess and think I'd get more done if I were just more organized!!!

We have a dedicated playroom for all out games crafts and fun things. Over the years, we have collected so much stuff. Ok...I have collected so much stuff, my children no longer have a room to play and socialize in. Oh the guilt! I have been purging supplies, but when you don't have places to go with the things you have it is like a dog chasing its tail. You go around in circles and never get anywhere. I have SOOOOO Many cool things to use in my scrapbooks, but never enough time to work on them as I spend too much time looking for things. By, the time I find what I needed, I am burned out. Right now all they will remember is what a mess I made of the playroom.

In April I went to the convention in St. Louis. My daughter was with me and bought supplies for a wedding album. I bought supplies for a grandson album and a vacation album. My daughter got maried in June, my other daughter had a baby in June. The stuff from April is in boxes stuffed under a table. The pictures are in boxes on top of the table. The dog thinks the paper is a great thing to eat (it does make poop-scooping interesting). The shelves are full of embellishments for everything you can imagine! Any suggestions you have would help!

Hmm why does my scrapbook room need help? Well because I just moved into it and am in the midst of re-organizing and heaven forbid purging items to make it cute and functional. Why do I need this prize because I gave up said scrapbook room so that my oldest daughter could come home from college and have her room again for a bit. I have a very little counter space that I actually work in and have added shelf after shelf, container after container, to no avail. There is very little walking space in there (there wasn’t much to begin with) now I can only get to my chair. I have just learned that besides having to share my scrap space with a tv, Wii, electronic dart board, treadmill and blow flex machine...I now have to incorporate a 36" tv to replace the nice, compact 19" tv I had agreed to...my dh bought the bigger tv for the grandkids to play Wii on...ughhh! We are in the process of building a new home. In this house I will finally have a room dedicated just to crafting which for me is mainly scrapbooking. In the past my "Craft Room" was a little hole of a room in our basement, dark and dreary. I know that now I wlll have more light and room for storage, but I have no idea where to begin.

My scrapping space is quite limited. I have my supplies (stash) spread out over 2 rooms. It takes me hours to scrap even 1 layout. I have to go back and forth between the rooms, and search through different storage containers to try and gather what I need to cut, glue, tape, embellish, etc. I have to drag a table over to the chair (because I am disabled and sit on a soft recliner), and then I have supplies on the chair next to me, on the floor and on the couch to my left. Why do I need the help, there are soooo many reasons? First, I just own way too much stuff, I have stamp sets I have had for over 2 years that aren't even put together yet cause they were buried in a pile I had forgotten about. There is stuff in the basement, the kitchen and packed into travel totes in the living room, really not a good way to be able to find anything. No wonder most of my projects are only in the halfway comleted stage. And then the kids want to "help", need I say anymore. I have lived in my home for almost 24 years. It is a 1600 sq.ft. home with four bedrooms. We had 2 sons who were 14 & 11 when I found out I was pregnant, I was almost 40! We had to rearrange our entire lives around this little one. I lost my craft/sewing room and we put my 11 year old in my craft room which is also our computer room. My computer was moved into the dining room. Since then my oldest has moved out on his own and my middle son came home from college after 2 years and is now doing online school. I have gotten my room back. There are two computers in it, 3 large desks, a crafting table that I made, a dresser full of craft supplies. I took the doors off the closet and placed all of my painting supplies in it. I can't get it organized. I paint, craft, scrapbook, digital photography, sew, quilt, etc. I also am in college full time as well as taking care of my 9 year old, Noah. This week we decided it was time to move to a new home, but we have to sell this home. I have been trying to organize and downsize the entire house for well over a year and I still have piles of stuff everywhere. I can't get a handle on any of it, I can't figure out how to store my stuff in my craft room. I stand in it and get overwhelmed and I just walk out. I want to organize it to show for selling but I want to keep the room productive. I am at a total loss and I need to get this all done in just a couple of months. I need HELP!!!!!

HELP! I've got the supplies to scrap the normal events in 2008: New Years, Easter, 4th of July, Birthdays, Halloween, and Thanksgiving. But I've also had the pleasure of one daughter's wedding, the other daughter's first son, one WILD trip to a scrapbook convention, and now my husband and I are adopting a girl in 2008. I've got the paper (somewhere), I've got the pictures (everywhere), I've got the page ideas (anywhere), I've got the embelleshments (up there). I've got the ribbon (under there). I've got the punches (in there). I've got the scissors (over there). But, I can't find anything IN THERE! I know I will use the advice from all of the authors to finally start, organize, and scrap the events in 2008.

We just moved into a house that cut our living space in half. Thats right in half. This is a temporary solution that will end in a couple of years when our boys graduate and we move to the country, but for now, we are in what I call a tiny house... Steve has been uber great about me leaving my scrapbook stuff on the table for a week at a time if I am in the middle of a project, but having to share our bedroom with all of my supplies is just down right saintly of him. You can barely walk in our bedroom as I have one complete wall of scrapbook supplies. It is a mess. Our house sold really quick so we had to move in a bit of a hurry and I didn't get a chance to truly organize. Not to mention I have this "temporary" state of mind that we won't be there long. ButI would love for him to spend the next year with our bedroom not looking like a war zone and to have things hidden and organized. (not to mention, he would probably like the kitchen table back...so a nice storage solution with a little table in the bedroom would be really nice! Sorry for the novel, it is just really something I would like to do for him!

I just really can't think of any other reason that I need this other than to say I am lost at times when I go into my room to crop and just can't seem to find anything I want to use for what I want to put together. Have you ever seen the show "Clean House"? I really need to do that in my own scrap room. I just love all the ideas that I can get from the book and the blogs when I can check them out too.

All my scrapbooking stuff is in totes spread all over the house. I am not a very good organizer!

I have accumulated a lot of supplies and try to organize them but I need help.... any one want to come over and play! lol

Me and my friend are cropping together at her house a lot and I need to have it organized to pack up and go.

Wow, I would love to have some direction on orgainizing my space. My sweet husband and kids let me share a room with their toys and computer however my stuff is taking over. With having 4 kids, it's so hard to find the time and energy (LOL!) to get organized but everyone would love it if I could have some help and let them regain some of their space back! I'll keep my fingers crossed!

I live near the coast in NJ and when they built the houses here 50 years ago, they were for the fishermen in the area. They didn't need a lot of space, but I'm always looking for ways to add more space without adding on. Being a single mother, any additional expenses can be nonexistant. These seem to answer a lot of my questions--I could really use them! Thank you for the contest!

I just moved all of my scrapbooking supplies up into a spare bedroom. I don't have any working surface and I have half of the supplies in the room and half in the closet. It's confusing.

My space needs help because I could use assistance with organization!

I think this is a wonderful opportunity to get some inspiration for clearing the clutter in my scrap area. My scrap area separates my living room from my kitchen and can be quite an eyesore and overwhelming to those who don't understand this hobby.

I don't have an organized space. My material is scattered all over. I cannot seem to organize my space.

I am pretty new to scrapbooking and I have a whole bunch of supplies, but absolutely no order to them what-so-ever. It makes it extremely difficult to work and I often can't find things and things sometimes disappear into the hands of my young children. I really need help! Thank you so much for the great contest!

Hopefully I can start the new year with an organized space and have a productive year! I really need the help organizing all my "stuff" and be able to find all the things I need to create!

I usually scrap in the living room. I need more organized storage.

We are moving into a new house after the first of the year and I will be setting my space up from scratch in our spacious new laundry room. Currently, my scrap space resides in a portion of the living room with the toys and couch and television and is hopelessly messy and unorganized.

I'm having to share my scrap space, with no desk, w/ a laundry room, well a no longer working laundry room and a water softner system and 2 HUGE wardrobes only cause there's no where else in the house to put them. I've made due with what I have, but boy it needs some help. I need help, I'm all about organizing but there's no room to really do that in the room after being repetedly told I can do what I want but I have to keep everything in there as is. Thanks and please help me. I'm going crazy

Because I cannot move in my scrap room. I have to drag things out to another room to sort them. I actually scrap in the den because my scrap space is such a wreck.
