Creativity Prompt: Currently
9/4/2008 9:51:34 AM (Eastern Daylight Time, UTC-04:00)
Inspired by
Master '09 Anabelle O'Malley's
Currently
layout
and
Master '09 Ronda Palazzari's
Who R You
layout
, I created the above layout, also called
Currently
.
As Anabelle mentioned in her blog, I too, enjoy creating layouts that capture current likes, feelings, etc. They're so much fun to read even just a year later.
Creative Prompt:
Create a "Currently" layout of your own.
Journaling reads:
I am: writing regularly, reading a lot of memoirs, hopeful, anticipating fall, craving hot apple cider, inspired, thankful, wondering what my 25th year will bring,
looking to compile a fall reading list
; Loving: Ann Taylor Loft, houndstooth, the color plum, mint chocolate chip soy ice cream, Cranergy juice, Noodles & Co.'s Pesto Cavatappi, Jon + Kate Plus 8, Bethany Dillon, The David Crowder Band. 9-3-08
Supplies:
Cardstock (WorldWin) • Fla!r buttons, stickers (American Crafts) • Glimmer Mist (Tattered Angels) • Letters (American Crafts, Making Memories) • Printer (Epson R1900)
I love
American Craft's new Moda Bella collection
. They describe it as follows: Modern design meets bohemian style in Moda Bella, our newest collection of patterned paper. Inspired by fashion classics and unique designs, Moda Bella is a bright solution for any project or page.
I love the bright, fun colors and the Fla!r button accents. And aren't the
Puffy Thickers
adorable?
I love letter stickers and used my other favorite on this page:
the Tiny Alphas by Making Memories
. I simple adore these teeny letters. They're perfect for any project or page.
And about my current search for a fall reading list (see bold portion of journaling above): I would love it if you all posted your recommendations, below—both fiction and nonfiction would be much appreciated!
Wishing you a happy Thursday!

Love how this turned out, Katie!!! Love the Flair on it. As for reading, don't do much of that these days (unless you count online stuff and magazines). If you haven't read Bridget Jones' Diary and Memoirs of a Geisha, they are my all time faves!

I recommend anything by Nicholas Sparks, but if you haven't read any of his work, start with "The Notebook", followed by "The Wedding". These are the only books that follow the same story line, more or less.
I also enjoy Ron Rash, mainly because he writes fiction about places I know about.
