Did you read the post below? If so, you probably noticed that Sarah's mixed-media artwork is filled with lovely found papers and other vintage ephemera. Want to find some collage goodies of your own?

Here’s what Sarah has to say about hunting for collage elements:

I collect most of my vintage elements from old books I pick up at antique/junk shops or library book sales. At book sales, I scour the kids’ section for old science/nature books, dictionaries, and fun, unique games.

It's a lot of fun to search through my found book collection to find the perfect image to use in a piece. In fact, it has become part of my creative process. I'm sure I have enough books to last a lifetime, but they continue to offer endless inspiration!
