Inspired by the Ordinary
6/12/2008 11:15:25 AM (Eastern Daylight Time, UTC-04:00)

Last week, I blogged about finding inspiration in the ordinary.

My creative prompt was:
Find inspiration in the everyday objects you purchase or even with something you have around your house. Look at the packaging and mimic the colors, textures and fonts. Pick something that grabs your attention and inspires you.

As I was flipping through the latest issue of Real Simple, I was inspired to do a layout that looked similar to an article I found in it.
They used dots to point to specific parts of the object and a similar heading at the top of their page. Here's the digital layout I created based on my new favorite fruit drink, Cranergy.

This is a simple page. I didn't even use any embellishments. The most important thing to remember is your inspiration can come from anywhere. Where have you found your inspiration today?

Create something. Inspire everyone.
