Birthday Card from the Noteworthy Collection
6/13/2008 10:03:34 AM (Eastern Daylight Time, UTC-04:00) I made this birthday card for my mom today. She's coming down to visit me on her birthday weekend! Since she'll be on the road soon, I thought it would be safe to post this blog before I give her the card. I made it from the Noteworthy collection from Making Memories. I love how easy it is to match and coordinate all of the embellishments and papers. One of my favorite things about making cards for people is trying to capture their personality in the card. My mom likes bright colors, but her favorite one is purple. I incorporated those purple accents with the patterned paper and ribbon. The next time you make a card or a layout for someone, try to create something that reflects their personality. This is the inside corner of the card. Isn't the Noteworthy metal signage adorable! Supplies: Patterned paper, flower, ribbon, metal signage: Making Memories Ink: Clearsnap Rub-on: Crate Paper Misc.: paint, button brads, staples Create something. Inspire everyone.
