Shrink Plastic and Stamps
Shrink Plastic is so much fun! I decided today I was just gonna play and see what I came up with.... well, votive charms is what I ended up creating. To create this charm I used a holiday stamp from the "Tis the Season" stamp set by Autumn Leaves that Sande Krieger (one of my favorite designers) designed, Timber Brown Staz On, Shrink Plastic by Judi Kins, Cloud scissors by Fiskars, a Silver Leafing Pen by Krylon a jump ring and a hole punch.

This little project is so easy to do...
  1. Using Brown Timber Staz On stamp your image onto clear shrink plastic
  2. Cut out image using cloud or scallop scissors, using a hole punch, punch a hole in the top left corner
  3. Bake according to directions on shrink plastic packaging
  4. Once the charm has cooled, use a silver leafing pen to paint the back and edges of the charm
  5. Allow to dry
  6. Attach a jump ring to charm and attach to ribbon
  7. Tie the ribbon around the votive candle holder and enjoy
I hope you give this little project a try. You can use your handmade charms for so many things... gift tags, drink charms, decorations for your holiday packages etc...
