Glitter
I have lots of people email me asking what kinds of glitter I use on my projects. I have several different brands and all have a certain look/feel when used. If I am making something that has a vintage feel like the project below I use Shard Vintage Glass by Art Institute.

On this project I used glitter by Martha Stewart to cover my chipboard letters. Her color choices are incredible. She has two types of glitter, one that is fine as shown below and one that is coarse. The fine glitter is so smooth and just flows out of the bottle like water. I love it.

When I want to accent a design on my patterned paper I use Stickles by Ranger. On this project I accented the star burst pattern using Star Dust. Stickles is a wonderful glitter glue. The bird is covered in glitter by Making Memories. I use this a lot to cover chipboard letters and other embellishments. Their shimmer kits come in several different sets.

I recently purchased some of the new Sugar Coating glitter assortment by Doodlebug. Their colors are so unique and have several different shades of color in each bottle giving your project an incredible burst of color. These are certain to be one of my new glitter addictions. You can also purchase their glitter in larger bottles which I will be doing.

When using glitter on raw chipboard I always paint the chipboard piece with a color as close to the color of the glitter as possible. This gives a nice even solid color on the embellishment. When applying glitter to an embellishment I cover the entire piece or portion to be glittered with 3-D Crystal Lacquer, shake on the glitter, gently press the glitter into the crystyal lacquer with my finger and shake off the excess glitter and let dry.

I hope this has answered some of your questions. If you have more let me know and I will do my best to help.
