Paint resist and pop dots

A simple techique for a touch of an artsy feel:

1.  Stamp an image using VersaMark ink on white cardstock.
2.  Heat emboss with white embossing powder.
3.  Dry brush paint over the embossed image and quickly rub the paint off the embossing with a paper towel.
4.  I then cut out the image with a circle cutter.

As for pop-dots.  I love these things!  I am all about dimension and lifting an element up on a pop-dot adds that little touch that makes me smile:)  Hard to see but the 3 paint resisted images and the orange flower are raised atop pop-dots.

Supplies:

PP:  TaDa Creative Studios:: Boom Chica Bloom Collection
Stamp:  TaDa Creative Studios
Cardstock:  Bazzill
Letters:  Lil' Davis Designs
Rubons:  Doodlebug
Brads:  Queen & Co.

I'm just getting into embossing & this is such a cute technic I need to try. I love pop dots & the dimension that it can add to a page. You did a beautiful job on this layout. Very artsy looking. Thank you for the idea. Di
