Scrapbook Art...
Here is a fun piece you can either hang on the wall or place on an easle. All you need are Patterned Papers, Chipboard Blossoms, a Chipboard ATC, Rhinestones, Buttons, Ribbon, Alphabet Stamps, Ink and a Canvas. I found the quote, "I'd rather have roses on my table than diamonds on my neck" at www.quotegarden.com. If you love quotes this site is full of them. I visit quite often.
Here are some quick step-by-step instructions if you want to recreate this piece.
Cut patterned paper to size need to cover canvas, sew around edges and where papers meet
Adhere patterned paper to canvas, ink edges
Cut stems and leaves from patterned papers (I drew mine on the back of the paper and then cut them out), ink edges
Cover Chipboard Blossoms with patterned papers, sand edges, place button in center of each flower
Cover ATC with patterned paper, sand edges, tie twill around ATC and double knot, adhere rhinestones
Stamp quote onto lower portion of canvas (making sure to leave room for your ATC (vase)
Adhere stems, leaves and flowers
Adhere ATC (vase)
Supplies Used:
Patterned Paper: Daisy D's, Chipboard Blossoms, ATC and Twill: Maya Road, Buttons: Autumn Leaves, Stamps: River City, Ink: ClearSnap, Rhinestones: Darice
Have a great day,
Lisa
